Whether you’re joining the Hop here, or if you’ve hopped on over from Monique – or back from Judy – a BIG hello!
Remember to click on through this week’s CTC crew to see plenty of inspirational projects that the crew have created for you – there’s a full list on the CTC blog page if you get lost along the way.
This week the crew gets to be inspired by our favourite tags in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalogue – and there’s quite a few sprinkled throughout the catty!
I’m particularly loving the Here’s to Cheers Stamp Set and the Cheerful Tags Framelit Dies and have chosen two of the tags made with these products to CASE this week.
Sharing food and drink with friends and family, and as gifts is a big part of the Festive Season in our household – and this Bundle is perfect for creating fabulous tags to put onto the gifts!
I know I’ll be using the set to make numerous gift tags in the upcoming months – but I’ve also started getting a December Daily photo album organised so that it is ready and just waiting for photos when December rolls around. And I’m sure I’ll have some photos of gift sharing and various celebrations to put into the album, so I’ve made a couple of pocket filler cards that match this year’s Hello December Project Life Card Collection and Accessory Pack which you can see below.
My first journal card used one of the 3″x4″ Project Life Cards as the base.
In my CASE, I’ve kept the tag pretty much the same as the original – just changing some of the colours used. In keeping with the Hello December colour palette, I’ve used Whisper White and Kraft Cardstock, Emerald Envy Ink, White Baker’s Twine and several Real Red items – washi tape, Satin Ribbon, Enamel Embellishments and the Stitched Edge Ribbon – Yay for coordinating products!
I made the base of my second filler card from Emerald Envy Cardstock and then embossed it with Silver – using one of the gorgeous wee stamps included in the Hello December Accessory Pack
Again the tag is very close to the original with just the colour palette adjusted to match the Hello December Suite. So goodbye gold & Cherry Cobbler and hello Silver & Real Red.
And here they are in the pages to go into my album waiting for the photos from the 24th of December …
I’m so looking forward to December when I can start filling my album with photos!
Hope you enjoyed my project this week!
As always, CASEing the Catty is running a monthly challenge – so you can play along too!
We’d love you to share your own project that takes inspiration from one of the many Tags in the Stampin’ Up! 2016 Holiday catalogue. Just click on the Join Challenge Button below and you can add your project to the linky you will find at the bottom of the post.
A winner will be chosen and announced on the first post of the following month.
Now depending on the direction you’re hopping– hop on forward to the next blog – Judy – or go back to the Previous Blog – Monique
And remember if you get lost along the way – head to the CTC Blog Home Page where you will see all those involved in this week’s CASEing the Catty Blog Hop and make sure you haven’t missed any of the great creations!
Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoy all the other posts in the hop!
Until next time
Jackie

I’m with Kelly on this – I wouldn’t have though to incorporate the tags with PL. So very clever of you, they look fantastic together!!
I love how you used the tags on the PL cards, Jackie. You are very organised!
