Thailand Achievers December Blog Hop – Occasions Catalogue Sneak Peek

thailand-grand-vacation-blog-hop

Welcome to the Thailand Incentive Trip Achievers Blog Hop for December.

Those hopping today are all Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world who have met the requirements, and earned the amazing Stampin’ Up! Incentive trip – while everyone can try, only a limited number of demos (less than 1% of all demonstrators) reach the level required to earn the trip each year.

This month our theme is the “Occasions Catalogue Sneak Peek”.

We ALL get excited about new product and we want to showcase some of the new products for you to give you ideas and inspire you for the new Occasions catalogue that starts 4th January 2016.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Jackie Noble | creativeJax –  or may have come from the person previous to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Jackie Noble | creativeJax.

There’s a lot of amazing things in the new catty so I had a hard time selecting what to give you a sneak peek.

If you read my recent post about On Stage Live held in Brisbane last month, You may remember that I was a Showcase Stamper for the stunning new “Beautiful You” stamp set. I did several projects including a Pop-Up Swing card. Here’s a collage of the project. This was the first time I had done this technique and searched for a tutorial on YouTube to teach me – luckily there were plenty!creativejax_2016_11_pop_up_card

I love this stamp set and wanted to feature it in today’s post, and I was also keen to share some of the fabulous new Designer Series Papers (DSPs) in the new catty. So I’ve redone the card using two of these – Party Animal and Falling in Love. Each of the girls in these cards are stamped onto DSP the cutout. The images are also stamped onto cardstock and then the cutout image on the DSP is stuck onto this. I love the effect this technique achieves.

First up – here’s a 50th card I made for someone special.

The colours in the Party Animal DSP make it bright and playful – Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry, Emerald Envy, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, Whisper White.

My second card showcases a very different DSP – Falling in Love – with the colours of Blushing Bride, Sahara Sand, Soft Sky, Sweet Sugarplum, Very Vanilla.

Close Up

I love how by using different DSP’s I got very different looks in these cards.

If you’re wondering how I got the multi-coloured sentiments – I’ve used my Stampin’ Write Markers – first to colour part of the sentiment in one colour and then using a different colour on the rest of the sentiment.

If you don’t have the Stampin’ Write Markers in your craft supplies – you may wish to consider joining my Markers Club – you can read more about it here

The Beautiful You stamp set and two DSPs (Falling in Love & Party Animal) will be available for purchase from 4th January.

Hi There! Thanks for asking. Both ovals are still current Stampin’ Up! dies even though the card was posted a year & half ago.
The Stiched oval is from the Stitched Shapes Framelits set (145372) and the scallop is from the Layering Ovals Framelits set (141706).
You can purchase these from a Stampin’ Up! Demomstrator (either in person or online). Message me – I can help if you’re in New Zealand – or point you towards a demo depending where you live. Jackie

I know you did this 2016 but would you remember the name of the stitched oval die and the scallop oval die you used behind the Beautiful You gals? Thanks,
