Our Design team has created a bundle of 12 tutorials using Stampin’ Up! products.
This month the bundle contains tutorials for traditional style cards, 3D packaging, fancy fold cards, and paper crafting techniques! It’s full of fabulous projects you don’t want to miss out on. Here’s a Sneak Peak of what you will receive in the bundle.

The Tutorial Bundles are based on currently available supplies from Stampin’ Up! and will have both metric and imperial (inches) measurements. So no matter where you live in the world, you can purchase these tutorials and use them to create great projects!

The Tutorial Bundle is $NZ21 – or place an order over $NZ50 this month with me to receive this month’s tutorial for free. See the details at the end of the post to find out how you can get this exclusive bundle of tutorials.

I’m excited to share a card I’ve made for a very special event I’m attending tomorrow – the Stamp Out Cancer Event in Victoria, Australia.

Some Background:

This fundraising event is a day of crafting organised by the wonderful Pam Jorgensen, a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Dimboola, and some of her amazing Team – the PJ Stampers. I met Pam at a Stampin’ Up! Event – On Stage – and we became friends.

The Stamp Out Cancer Day raises funds towards a local Cancer Treatment Centre. As my original career was as a Radiation Therapist, and then as lecturer training Radiation Therapists, cancer care is close to my heart. Having somewhere close to home for patients to receive care makes a huge difference for their treatments.

So you may be able imagine my delight for Pam when she was awarded the “Heart of Stampin’ Up!”for the Stamp Out Cancer Event! I decided a crafty day in Australia for such a worthy cause was needed and booked this trip last year. I’ve been looking forward to seeing Pam and her team, and crafting with them and their guests, and contributing to the fundraising while doing so!

Of course, when Pam asked if I’d present I was only too happy to pitch in. And, when Pam said “Can you use the Spectrum Ink Pads?” I was even more delighted. I’ve had a couple since the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue came out in June last year – and hadn’t even inked them up to use, so this was the perfect opportunity. So thanks Pam!

My April Blog Hop Project

Bloom to Bloom spectrum card.

Many of the elements on the card come from the Happiness Blooms Product Suite – including the suite colours of Pineapple Punch, Night of Navy, Calypso Choral, Lovely Lipstick and Call Me Clover.

The Spectrum Pads come uninked, and you choose what colours you’d like in them. I’ve used the Pineapple Punch, Night of Navy, Calypso Choral, Lovely Lipstick and Call Me Clover Re-Inker bottles to add colour to each of the individual ink pads which make up the Spectrum Ink Pad.

I’ve then used this inked Spectrum Ink Pad to create the colour block behind the Large flower image. I stamped the Ink Pad onto a large clear block (E Block ), spritzed it with water and then stamped this directly onto Watercolour Paper.

Once, completely dry, I dropped a few droplets of water onto the paper to form the “splodges”.

Bloom to Bloom

I stamped the large flower head and stem images from the Bloom to Bloom stamp set in Night of Navy. I used the Stamparatus to stamp several times in order to get a really dark image.

Taking a piece of Lovely Lipstick cardstock I ran it through the Big Shot with the Dot to Dot Texture Embossing Folder and then attached the watercolour paper  this to a Night of Navy Card Base

With the “de-bossed” side up, I’ve attached the stamped watercolour paper and then tied some Calypso Choral ribbon around both before attaching these to one if the Night of Navy Memories & More Card bases.

I’ve popped on the versatile “for You” sentiment, and added some enamel dots.

The offset layout is carried through to the inside of the card along with the flower – which is inked with the Spectrum Ink Pad.

The Memories & More Card bases are a lighter card stock than our usual card stock. I usually add a mat to the inside as well as the outside of the card as this provides the strength in the card base that I prefer.

I had such fun with the Spectrum Ink Pads as I was making several samples for my presentation and am so looking forward to sharing them with the crafty peeps tomorrow.
Thanks again Pam for helping my use goodies my Stampin’ Up! stash!!!

And here is a sneak peek of my tutorial project.
