Those hopping today are all Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world who have met the requirements, and earned the amazing 2019 Stampin’ Up! Incentive trip – while all demonstrators can potentially earn the trip, only a limited number of demos (less than 1% of all demonstrators) reach the level required to earn the trip each year. Of the about 50,000 demonstrators from throughout the world 445 earned this particular trip.
And it is getting very close! The Greek Isles Cruise departs from Rome on 7th July, but Roy and I leave New Zealand earlier as we are holidaying in Italy before the trip! In fact – this time next week we will have done the first of three flights to get to Europe – our 1-hour domestic flight to Auckland. That’s the easy one!
As Achieving Demonstrators, we hop together once a month to show you ideas and designs using “current” Stampin’ Up!® products. Our June Hop features product from the new 2019/2020 catalogue which went live two weeks ago on 4th June.
My Blog Hop Project is a swap I have done for a group of demos from the South Pacific. I love swapping – it’s so exciting to see what projects arrive back in the mail from the other participants!
Project – No Flower Magnolia Lane Card:
The card base is Thick Very Vanilla – I find this Thick cardstock much more suitable as a card base that the standard Very Vanilla.
There’s a layer of Crumb Cake that covers the entire front of the card. This layer is embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
The top layer is again Thick Very Vanilla and I have stamped one image repeatedly in Early Espresso using the Stamparatus to get an even ombre effect.
My blog title included the words “No Flower Magnolia Lane”. The Magnolia Suite of Products is mostly recognisable by the gorgeous images of Magnolias – on the Designer Series Paper as well as in the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set as you can see below.
I wanted to feature the border stamp you see at the bottom of the second stamp set case. I’ve used the coordinating border die from the Magnolia Memory Dies. This die cuts and embosses which you can see in the close-up. Of course, these two items are available as a bundle – the Good Morning Magnolia Bundle
You can see how the border die is shaped to match the stamp and there is an embossed detail inside the cut line. I love how Stampin’ Up! Designers spend time on all the details of products, and how they work together! The close-up also shows the texture of the embossed Crumb Cake. Note I did the stamping before I embossed! The sentiment is part of a larger sentiment in the set. I’ve cut this stamp in half as I know I’m going to be using these two lines in many projects!
The picture below shows not only the front of the card but a sneak inside where you can see I’ve repeated the border detail. This time by adding a piece of die cut Crumb Cake onto the Very Vanilla – rather than cutting the Very Vanilla card base.
The ribbon tied around the top of the card is the White Linen Ribbon from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack and also some Linen Thread.
Attached is one of the Bird Ballard Trinkets.

What a great idea to use the border stamp as the main focus. Looks fabulous Jackie! Thanks for taking part in the Greek Isles Blog Hop this month.
