Updated:
A new month, a new Class from Create With Pip and Jax, and a new “normal” for us here in New Zealand and around the globe!
Shortly after posting about April’s Create with Pip & Ja Class, I received notification from Stampin’ Up! that they will be stopping shipping to New Zealand from 1.59am (NZT) on Friday for at least the following 3 weeks. However – ordering will continue to be available – the orders will be processed, packed and held at the warehouse until shipping recommences.
The following is from the email I have received:
“You’ve likely heard that Prime Minister Ardern of New Zealand has asked businesses to ship only essential goods into the country. In an effort to comply with this request from the government and to do our part to help stop the spread of COVID-19, we have decided to hold all Stampin’ Up! shipments into New Zealand for at least the next three weeks. Although orders will not be shipped into New Zealand during these next few weeks, you and your customers may continue placing orders, which we will still prepare for shipment. …
All orders received by 11:59 pm (AET) on Thursday 2 April will ship as normal. Any orders received after that time will be processed, packed and stored in the distribution centre until shipping to New Zealand resumes.
We anticipate this hold on shipments to last at least three weeks. This timeframe aligns with the government’s current Alert Level 4 status, which is roughly one week into a four-week lockdown. ”
I am personally fully supportive of this decision by Stampin’ Up! I fully understand that it will impact the company as well as us Independent Demonstrators and the many people that purchase our fabulous products. I do believe that allowing us all to keep ordering – but holding those orders back from shipping at the moment is the right thing to do.
With this announcement, I am happy to resume placing orders after the 11.59 (AET) Thursday 2 April timeframe noted. This is 1.59am on Friday 3 April. By placing orders from that time I know they will not be entering the New Zealand Postal/Courier Services
This does, of course, mean that any orders will not be shipped – so you need to be aware that it will be at least 3 weeks before they arrive in New Zealand. In the meantime, I will send the pdf electronically as you can use the projects as inspiration using products you may currently have.
I will continue to not be placing items into the mail/courier services until the restrictions on the use of these essential services have been revised.
So …
