Hi All
Welcome to the Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop for April. I am very excited to be part of my first Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop – and very excited to say this time next month my husband and I will be on the Mediterranean Cruise – my first ever Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip! Those hopping today are all Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world who have met the requirements, and earned the amazing Stampin’ Up! Incentive trip – while everyone can try, only a limited number of demos (less than 1% of all demonstrators) reach the level required to earn the trip each year.
Thanks again to Stampin’ Up! and to all the many people who helped me earn this magnificent reward.
The Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop theme this month is Baby Love. We are sure that you will find some incredible inspiration from the projects that you are about to see.
You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Jackie Noble – or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Jackie Noble – aka CreativeJax.
Over the last few months I’ve had two very special people – both named Emma – give birth to beautiful babies – one a girl and the other a boy. Congrats again to both pairs of Mums and Dads and the new families. Each family got a handmade card – of course – along with an album containing cards from Stampin’ Up!’s Project Life (PL)
Hello Baby Girl or
Baby Boy Collection and
matching accessories.
Today I’m sharing the cards I made and one of the albums.
But first – this is a nappy (aka diaper) cake I made for one of the baby showers.
I knew that I was going to be doing a PL album when the babies were born – but didn’t know if they’d be girls or boys – so I themed the cake in the “gender neutral” colours of the
Hello Baby collections – Basic Grey, So Saffron and Mint Macaroon. The images on the side were sized for pockets in the future PL albums and the prospective parents were told to hold onto the these. The onsies were made using the gorgeous “Made with Love” stamp set and
Baby’s First Framelits.
The first baby born was acute wee girl – here’s the card celebrating her birth:
Next up, a gorgeous wee boy was born – and here’s the card celebrating his birth:
I’ve used the
Made with Love stamp set for two of the onsies and for the third and the
Baby’s First Framelit to cut the third onsies from a Project Life Card – aren’t those hearts cute! The extra colour in the card is
Lost Lagoon which is retiring at the end of May. Those stripes are from the
2015-2017 InColor Envelope Paper – also retiring soon. I’ve loved the weight of this envelope paper – not just for making envelopes but also as a layer in cards.
And here are some images of the PL album – all ready for pictures of that stunning wee boy.
This 6″x8″ album is a great size to put together and the cards in the Hello Baby collections are stunning – I’m so pleased these sets will be available in the new catalogue.
It was such fun making these projects to celebrate the arrival of two precious new lives and I’ve loved sharing them here!
Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don’t want to miss. Remember that currently you are at my blog – Jackie Noble, so check the blog hop line up list below to see who is next in the list.
As a final treat – here are the cute cupcakes my daughter Beth made for the baby shower – they not only looked great – they tasted sumptuous too!
There’s information below about the products I’ve used in these projects. If you live in New Zealand and would like a demonstrator to order through – I’d love to have you as my customer.
Until next time
Jackie

Thank you – I am pleased you enjoyed my blog post. Unfortunately I do not have any exact measurements for the diaper cake. I did use 12×12 sheets of thick cardstock around the outside of each layer of diapers. I had cut each into two pieces of 12×6″. I rolled each diaper individually and placed them into a cake tin, and then when it was full I wrapped the cardstock around and slid them out of the cake tin. I then repeated for the other layers. I decorated the cake with ribbons and Project Life cards. Good luck for having a go at making the diaper cake. Do post a picture back here 🙂
