Hello from New Zealand and welcome to this month’s Blog Hop with the Tutorial Bundle Design Team where I share a trio of cards featuring a new stamp set (Just Because), new framelits (Rectangle Stitched Framelits), new Stampin’ Blends (Mossy Meadow & Balmy Blue) and a carry over favourite (Buffalo Check).

To celebrate the release of the January Bundle, the Design Team is holding our monthly Blog Hop.

Remember, these Blog Hop projects are not the same projects as in our tutorial, as the projects in the Tutorial Bundle are exclusive and not shown anywhere else.

I have a trio of cards featuring the Just Because Hostess Stamp Set and the Stitched Rectangle Framelits to share today. My Tutorial Bundle project also uses the Just Because stamp set and the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies. But it is a different card than those here in the Hop!

But if you look closely at the stamps you may notice something…

 … I’ve cut the stamp so I can use the images without the words. I decided I would often want just the images. Or I may wish to swap the sentiments. So rather than masking or colouring the stamps each time, I would simply cut them apart!

After colouring, I used two of the Stitched Rectangle Framelits to cut out three panels on each image.

I cut out three panels from each of my three botanical images. 

Next I inked up a returning favourite from the Holiday Catalogue – the Buffalo Check Stamp – with Crumb Cake and Mossy Meadow Classic Ink using sponge daubers to apply the ink to the stamp.

For my first Just Because card, I simply popped the panels onto the card front using dimensionals.

For my second Just because card I wrapped some Old Olive Linen Thread around the card front before attaching the panels with dimensionals.

And the last card in my Just Because trio also has some of the Old Olive Linen Thread – this time as texture behind the panels.

I’ve chosen not to include ay sentiments on the cards – Just Because!
