It’s great to be hopping with the All Star Tutorial Bundle Design Team – we are ready to help you create beautiful handmade projects featuring Stampin’ Up! products. It’s time for a new Tutorial Bundle and Blog Hop for you.

Our Design team has created a bundle of 12 tutorials using Stampin’ Up! products.
This month the bundle contains tutorials for projects using products from the Annual and Holiday Catalogues – and some from the soon-to-be-released Mini Catalogue which goes live in January. Here’s a Sneak Peek of what you will receive in the bundle.

Remember, the projects in the Blog Hop are not the same projects as in our tutorial – the projects in the Tutorial Bundle are exclusive and not shown anywhere else. Here’s a better sneak peek of the project I’ve done for the Tutorial Bundle.

While the project being shared today and my project in the Tutorial Bundle are both made using the same technique – remember they are different projects.

Blog Hop Project

Swapping is a real highlight at Stampin’ Up! events. I made and shared 3 different swap projects at our recent OnStage Live Event in Dortmund. This is one of my designs – for an organised – 25 cards.

Done and ready to swap.

It can get a bit crazy – LOTS of people – but it is a fun way to meet new people and a great way to get inspiration from others via their swaps.

Here’s some pictures of swapping in action in Dortmund.

Roy attended OnStage Live with me in Dortmund and was helpful – and patient! He mostly observed but once, after I had got sidetracked talking to the people I was swapping with (surprise – surprise!), I turned back to find Roy had kept on swapping!

Deck the Halls! Stampin’ Creative November Blog Hop

And this week that is just what I’ve been doing here at Home!

Each year I create some new Christmas Decorations from current Stampin’ Up! products, that I then keep and add to my collection to bring out next year.

I’ve already made several new Home Decor items and today I’m sharing a cute wee Christmas Luminary

Deck the Halls Project

I must admit it looks a little underwhelming during the day without its battery-operated tealight candle going.

But when I turn that on – I just love how it shines!

Tools: Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies

Non-Stampin’ Up! product: Battery-operated tea light candle – this one was multi-coloured but the luminary looks fabulous with any Tea-light candle. It MUST be a BATTERY one though – DON’T put a real candle inside!

This Luminary is made from just one 6×6″ square of the Mercury Glass Designer Acetate. The Mini Curvy Keepsake dies cuts one piece to create this gorgeous wee “gift box”. You can see how it works in the Stampin’ Up! video below.

Christmastime is Here – Special Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop

Our Design Team is made up of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from throughout the world and we love blogging together each month to share new Creative projects with you all. This month some of the team is hoping together to feature the Christmastime is Here Suite. You’re currently with Jackie Noble – aka CreativeJax – in Porirua, New Zealand.

Before I share my project – I wanted to share a couple of pictures taken only a few days ago at the Stampin’ Up! OnStage Live event in Dortmund, Germany.

It was fabulous to meet up some of the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop Design Team – many of these for the first time!

We took this first photo on Friday in the photo booth area – but we weren’t all in it so we arranged to redo on Saturday – and we conscripted another member!

What an amazing group of women! I’m very blessed to be part of the team.

My Project today is also related to OnStage.

I left a gift in New Zealand to be given to Sally Wheoki during OnStage Local in Auckland. Sally is one of my fabulous downlines and had been selected to present at the OnStage Local. I was sad not to be there with her to support and celebrate her presenting – and to celebrate her magnificent results over the last year. In New Zealand, Sally placed 3rd in Recruiting, 6th in Leadership and 6th Overall! I was so proud of her achievements and the hard work she has put into growing her business.

My gift to her was the beautiful Limited Edition bracelet from the Christmastime is Here Suite.

And I made a gift bag for her gift.

From my 12×12 sheet of DSP I made 2 gift bags – just changing which side of the DSP is showing more.

These gift bags are a perfect size for the Charming Rose Bracelet

The box that the Bracelet comes in has the same patterns as this particular DSP sheet.

Pretty Cards and Paper November Blog Hop – Let it Snow

Welcome to this month’s Pretty Cards & Paper International Blog Hop.

Our Design Team is made up of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from throughout the world – one from each of the countries/markets that Stampin’ Up! has a presence in.

Each month we will be featuring a different card or designer series paper in our projects. We’re featuring the another specialty DSP in November – the Let it Snow DSP. The specialty part of this paper is that there is glimmer on several of the patterns.

Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper 150393

The weather outside may be frightful but crafting is so delightful when you use Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper. This versatile designer paper features one side with bright winter images with a touch of glimmer; the other side has basic patterns for year-round use.

* 12 sheets of designer paper: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs
* 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm)

Let It Snow Christmas Card

So – we don’t have snow at this time of the year in New Zealand – but that doesn’t mean this paper is not relevant to us in the South Pacific! Many of the reverse sides of the paper have non-snowy patterns! I’ve chosen a stripe for my card today.

Sentiment stamped in Real Red Ink onto Whisper White (8cm x 4cm)
Real Red 1/8″ Curly Ribbon tied around matted DSP
Matted DSP attached to card front with dimensionals

On the inside of the card I stamped second sentiment in Real Red
Add some Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels for touch of bling!

More Project Photos

The layout of this card shows off both sides of the Designer Series Paper.

So often both sides of a piece of DSP are gorgeous and it seems wrong to hide one side by sticking it down on a full card front. Attendees at my Christmas Cards Class this week have enjoyed making this card and loved being able to see both sides of this stunning DSP. It is a layout that you can use in a huge variety of cards – not just Christmas.

To create the card, I wrapped the Gold Ribbon around the top of the DSP with Tear & Tape, and then used another strip of Tear & Tape to stick the DSP to the Whisper White that forms the top part of the card front.

I then stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment onto the card front in Mossy Meadow before attaching the large rose image using dimensionals. The rose image was cut from the Christmastime is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper using the Roses Dies. I love that this die cuts the image on the DSP as well as the stamped rose image – thank you Stampin’ Up!

The card was finished off with some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots. I’ll definitely be adding more of these to my next order!

Christmastime Festive Treats! Stampin’ Creative November Blog Hop

This month’s theme is Festive Treats.

Maybe I should have made a Halloween treat as it is Halloween today – but no – I’ve got a festive Christmas treat bag/box.

It is in Christmas colours – so definitely “Festive” – but it could be used for many different occasions.

Base: Kraft Pillow Box (folded closed at the bottom but not the top)

Paper/card: Christmastime is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper, Gold Foil Sheets

Stamp sets: Delightful Day

Ink: Versamark Pad, Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker (from Regals set)

Tools: Pretty Label Punch (to make handle opening), Rose Dies (for Whisper White Label & gold lattice), Heat Tool

Accessories: Gold Embossing Powder, Gold ¼” Ribbon, Gold Glitter Enamel Dots

Helpful Hint:

When adhering the gold foil sheet to the bottom of the Pillow Box, place it so the bottom edge is at the level of the points of the box. This will allow the box to stand.

The view from below showing how the gold foil is wrapped around the bottom of the pillow box (which is folded closed) and forms an edge so that the box/bag can stand.

Oh, I love gold foil, so I had to take another picture for you!

Night Before Christmas Sampler – Maui Achievers’ Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to the October Maui Trip Achievers’ Blog Hop.

Those hopping today are all Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world who met the requirements to earn the amazing 2020 Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip to Maui. While every demo can work towards and potentially earn the trip, only a limited number of demos (less than 1% of all demonstrators) reach the level required to earn the trip each year.

As Achieving Demonstrators, we hop together once a month to show you ideas and design using “current” Stampin’ Up! products – and as October is the start of our Stampin’ Up! year – this is our first hop together as the Maui Trip Achievers – so get ready to be inspired!

Project – Night Before Christmas Sampler

This Christmas sampler was one of my Make’n’Takes at a Paper Crafting Expo over the weekend.

It was such fun designing it and I loved seeing others creating it too!

The cards in the Night Before Christmas Memories & More Pack are just gorgeous and with the included coordinating stickers, make this a straightforward project to complete.

This Memories & More Card pack is great as you get six each of the designs – perfect to make a range of matching projects – or lots of the same project. Just think – you could make several of these Christmas Samplers as gifts!

Pretty Cards & Paper are Gleaming Brightly – October Blog Hop

Welcome to this month’s Pretty Cards & Paper International Blog Hop.

Our Design Team is made up of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from throughout the world – one from each of the countries/markets that Stampin’ Up! has a presence in.

Each month we will be featuring a different card or designer series paper in our projects. We’re featuring the gorgeous Brightly Gleaming DSP in October and I’m so pleased we are – Copper is my fav metallic – and that’s what is gleaming on this specialty paper

Here’s all the important info:

Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper 150429

Your creations will shine when you use the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper. Seasonal images and all-purpose patterns have copper foil accents on one side.

* 12 sheets of designer paper: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs
* 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm)
* Acid free
* Lignin free

Product colours: copper foil, Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, Pretty Peacock, Very Vanilla

Brightly Gleaming Christmas Gift Card Holder Card

Very Vanilla card base
Coordinating Cardstock (Pretty Peacock, Night of Navy or Mossy Meadow) cut with Rectangular stitched dies
Brightly Gleaming DSP (3″ x 12″, on long side – scored at height of your card from one end and approx 6cm (2 1/4 “) from the other end) Notched at the smaller end.
Brightly Gleaming DSP punched with large punch from the Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack to make a 3D ornament and a flat ornament.

Sentiment is a piece of the coordinating Classic Weave Ribbon

On the inside of the card I used a couple of colouring techniques. Stampin’ Markers directly onto stamps for the sentiment

Inside self colouring (or maybe faux watercolouring) on the bauble. Here I stamped using a Classic Ink Pad and then used my blender pen directly on the stamped image to create a watercoloured look.

The DSP wraps around from the front to the inside, folds back on itself to form the pocket (thanks to Lisa LoPresti Curcio for the inspiration for the fold)
I did this card at my Technique Classes this month. There were several DSP pattern options. The card could be put together in Portrait or Landscape and with various layout options.

Everyone loved the card and techniques we used on it.

Gorgeous Grape Feels Like Frost Birthday Wishes – All Star Tutorial Bundle Design Team Blog Hop

Accessories: Gorgeous Grape 1/4″ Mini Striped Ribbon, Shimmery Crystal Effects, Ice Stampin’ Glitter

More Project Photos

The piece of ribbon has been “deconstructed” and the long threads used to create a crinkly bow.

The sentiment was stamped in Gorgeous Grape onto Whisper White and popped onto a piece of Sparkle Glimmer Paper.

It’s hard to capture in pictures – but the flowers on the card front really sparkle!

I put dots of shimmery Crystal Effects onto the little buds and then sprinkled the Ice Stampin’ Glitter on top.

Once the Shimmery Crystal Effects is dry – those little pieces of Ice Glitter are going nowhere.

They catch the light and great lots of sparkle – they also look really cool in a close-up!

The inside of the card has a strip of DSP beside the Whisper White

Nature’s Beauty for Mental Health Awareness Week New Zealand

Today is the last day of Mental Health Awareness Week in New Zealand.

During the last week, I have been sharing projects I’ve made using the gorgeous Nature’s Beauty Stamp Set on my Facebook Page. (CreativeJax)

Tuesday’s Project – Foxy Toile Tidings Christmas Card

The Toile Tidings DSP features the animals which are in the Nature’s Beauty Stamp Set. How cool is that!

Wednesday’s Project – Bunny Baby Card

The bunny image paired with products from the Follow Your Art Suite & sentiments form Little Elephant makes a great Baby card!

Thursday’s Project – Deer Hiding in the Trees

By putting ink onto am embossing folder before running it through the embossing machine results in fabulous imagery!

I made several of these as Customer Thank You Cards!

Friday’s Project – Birthday Wishes for a Silver Fox!

I created this card for the monthly Stampin’ Creative Global Blog Hop which I am a Design Team member for.

The Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW) website has had some fabulous information and activities – things you can use at any time – not just this week!
