Colour INKspiration Blog Hop – CI02 – Avant Garden

colour_inkspiration_banner

Welcome back to the Colour INKspiration Blog Hop!

Wasn’t Kelly’s birthday card fabulous!

What an amazing response we’ve had to The Colour INKspiration Facebook Group and Challenge. The group now has over 900 members and we’ve been overwhelmed by the response to our first challenge – thanks you to all who have shared on the Group Page – it’s been fabulous! So much INKspiration in one place!

Don’t forget to checkout the Design Team’s Top 5 picks for Challenge 1 and vote for your favourite!. Go there now & do it now – you only have 24 hours!  Colour INKspiration Facebook Group.       Then come in back to finish the Blog Hop.

So – a quick reminder as to how Colour INKspiration works – Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 9pm New Zealand Daylight Savings Time (7 pm AEDT), a new Pinterest Inspired colour swatch will be uploaded to the Colour INKspiration Facebook Group, and the Colour INKspiration Design Team will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.

Our Pinterest Inspired Colour Swatch for today’s Blog Hop and for Facebook Colour INKspiration Challenge number 2 (CI02) is:

Those tiny words say Wisteria Wonder, Soft Sky, Mint Macaron, Whisper White and Garden Green.

A great swatch to work with.

I needed some welcome cards last week as I have had 2 wonderful new members join my Stampin’ Up! Team (thiINK Creative). Welcome Melanie & Michelle!

I decided to ink up Avant Garden – one of the Sale-A-Bration sets you can choose for FREE with a qualifying order during Sale-A-Bration. I thought the challenge colours would work beautifully with this set. I think I was right – do you?

The Welcome sentiment – from the Vertical Garden Set – is stamped in Garden Green.

I also wanted some birthday cards, so I used the same components as on my Welcome card – but re-arranged them a little for a Birthday card.

The card bases (half A4) are Wisteria Wonder with some speckled stamping along the edges – this was done in Versamark for a subtle look.

I’ve stamped the flower onto Watercolor Paper with Versamark – after running the Embossing Buddy over the paper of course! – then heat embossed it with Whisper White Embossing powder.

The Soft Sky watercoloured background was achieved using an Aqua Painter. I also used the Aqua Painter to colour the flowers in Wisteria Wonder and the foliage in Mint Macaron. I deliberately went outside-the-lines as I wanted a hint of colour as a highlight. You can see that more clearly in the closeup below.

See those little droplets – don’t they look just like water droplets? Nope – they’re not! In fact they are small droplets of glue – Fine Tip Glue to be exact!  So not only is the Fine Tip Glue a remarkably strong adhesive – it can also be used to obtain a glossy finish – just like we used to do with Crystal Effects! You can spread it out over a surface to make it shiny – or leave it as a drop and once it is dry, the glue become like a clear accent.

I matted the Watercolor Paper onto Soft Sky card stock, attached the Mint Macaron Ribbon and stuck it to the card front with dimensionals.

Here are both cards together.

Love how the same components can look so different simply by rearranging them!

Thailand Acheivers Blog Hop – January

thailand-grand-vacation-blog-hop

http://wp.me/p3uTCr-1uN

Welcome to the Thailand Incentive Trip Achievers Blog Hop for January.

This month we are focussing on the goodies in the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue.

Sale-A-Bration (SAB) is that wonderful time of the Stampin’ Up! calendar where everyone can earn FREE stuff with our orders.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Jackie Noble | creativeJax –  or may have come from the person previous to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.

I’ve gone a bit retro today!

There are two SAB products in my card.

The sentiment – “Don’t quit your day dream” in the “Designer Tee” stamp set which co-ordinates with the t-Shirt Framelits from the Occasions Catalogue.

The background is one of the papers in the “Inside the Lines” designer series paper (DSP). I’ve coloured all the flowers and leaves with Stampin’ Write Markers as I wanted bright, vibrant colour on the card. The background has been done with the Watercolor Pencils and a blender pen. You can also use aqua painters,  sponges, brayers or daubers to do your colouring – so versatile!

I though they looked groovy together!

A little frayed twine and a bright multicoloured spot were added to keep with the retro theme.

The sentiment on the t-shirt was done using the “Joseph’s Coat’ Technique. A fab emboss-resist technique!

And of course I carried the theme through to the inside of the card – this time by added a strip of that coloured DSP.

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don’t want to miss. Remember that currently, you are at my blog Jackie Noble | creativeJax, so check the blog hop lineup list to see who is next in the list.

CASEing the Catty – CTC112 – Enjoy Cupcakes & Carousels

Hello and welcome to CASEing the Catty – Sunday Blog Hop for CTC112!
CASEing the Catty Blog - CTC104 - Petals & Paisleys

Whether you’re joining the Hop here at CreativeJax with Jackie Noble, or if you’ve hopped on over from  Kathryn at Kathryn’s Stampin’ World – or back from Judy at Just Judy Designs  a BIG hello!

This week the CASEing the Catty Blog Hop and Challenge is taking inspiration from pages 8 to 13 of the 2017 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalogue. This section features the gorgeous Cupcakes & Carousel Suite – and so much more!

Once you’ve had a look through this week’s Blog Hop to see plenty of inspirational projects that the crew have created for you –  get your crafty mojo out and join the challenge at  CASEing the Catty Blog Hop and Sunday Challenge Facebook Group. if you haven’t already joined the group you – just ask and your wish will be granted! You don’t need to have a blog to join in – just post your picture in the Album for this week’s challenge. If you do have a blog – feel free to add the link! And of course, the challenge is open to all Stampin’ Up! enthusiasts – not just demos!

You don’t need to have a blog to join in – just post your picture to the Facebook Group in the Album for this week’s challenge (CTC 112 – Cup Cakes & Carousels). If you do have a blog – feel free to add the link! And of course, the challenge is open to all Stampin’ Up! enthusiasts – not just demos!

Remember CASEing means you take your inspiration from one of the projects – you don’t have to have the actual stamps, papers, colours – maybe you like the layout and run with that. There are more than 20 projects on the pages for this week’s challenge – so plenty of places to start!

I’ve CASE’d the gift bag in the centre of the top image on page 8 which has “ENJOY” on it. You can see it in the photo above with the carousel horse and the pink background.

Here’s my CASE – inspired by the layout of the gift bag and including the “Enjoy’ Sentiment” and the Cupcakes and Carousels DSP stack – though as a mini envelope rather than a background.

In my CASE, I kept several elements of the layout though made a few adjustments. Rather than fussy cutting a banner from DSP – I’ve used the Banner Punch. Rather than the ribbon from the coordinating Cupcakes & Carousels Embellishment Kit – I’ve used Bermuda Bay Baker’s Twine Twine. And rather than having a piece of DSP behind the banner, I stamped some tiny words of thanks! And rather than having the fussy cut horse element – I’ve got the tiny envelope.

I was rather taken with the “ENJOY” sentiment which is part of the “Suite Sentiments” set – so have used my Stampin’ Write marker to colour only that word and not get the smaller words that are below it on the stamp.

You may have missed this set among all the amazing products in the catalogue. It is right at the end of the catalogue – page 54 – and it was a set that I received Free at On Stage Live in Brisbane as an All-Attendee-Giveaway! Stampin’ Up! is so generous! I’m excited to have registered to go to our next Demo-only event – On Stage in Auckland in April – Yay!

The Suite of Sentiments contains a selection of sentiments that are in the style of the various product suites in the Occasions Catalogue – you can see all the suites HERE. As well as the ENJOY sentiment, the other two sentiments on the card are from the same set. The “Many Mini Thanks” and “thanks THANKS …” are designed to coordinate with the Sending Love Product suite. But of course you can mix & match and I think they look great on my Thank You card!

I just love the little shape that goes into the mini envelope (from the Love Notes Framelits) and the stamp of tiny “thanks” from the Suite Sentiments fits perfectly! Just too cute!

Note: The “Sealed with Love” product suite is the product suite I have based my second Classes-to-Go class around. You can read more about my current Classes-to-Go over on my Events and Classes page HERE

My CASE this week is the card I made for those who ordered at one of my Occasions Catalogue Launch parties which I held earlier in the month. As well as a Thank You card, which I always include with all orders, I wanted to include a wee treat and these sentiments were perfect to accompany these!

Here’s the card, and coordinating mini self-closing box.

We made these self-closing boxes in class late last year – but they were much larger – about 12cm (5 inches) tall. These mini ones are less than half that height – too small for many chocolates!

“So what is in that tiny box?” I hear you thinking …

Well …

Mini tictac containers! These little cuties hold 6 or 7 tictacs and come in a giant tictac box!

I’ve been looking for the right project to use these super cute tictacs  – and how perfectly matched are they with the “many mini thanks” theme?! lol!

Here’s what some of my sets look like en masse!

I do hope you’ve enjoyed my project this week! I’ve had fun creating with some of my new goodies from the Occasions Catalogue. Feel free to leave me a comment in the section below – I love hearing from you! If you live in New Zealand and would like to purchase any of the products I’ve mentioned – I would welcome you as a customer.

As I mentioned at the beginning of my Post – CASEing the Catty has a weekly Challenge hosted in our CASEing the Catty Blog Hop and Sunday Challenge Facebook Group.

We’d love you to share your own project that takes inspiration from pages 8 to 13 of the Occasions Catalogue, Just click on the Join Challenge Button below and you will find yourself at the Facebook group where you can add your project to the album for this week’s Challenge.

If you’re not a member of the group – just ask to join and we will see you there!

Classes-to-Go

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

If you follow me on Facebook, you will have seen that I have recently started offering Classes-to-Go for people who live anywhere in New Zealand.

I’m super excited to introduce these Classes-to-Go in 2017!

I have customers and followers all over New Zealand, and being able to give people the option of pre-ordering a class to make 6 – 8 projects (two each of 3 – 4 different projects) in their own home and in their own time, has been an aim of mine for some time.
My Classes-to-Go are not considered to be a kit, or cash & carry.
Each of the CreativeJax Classes-to-Go will be based around particular Stampin’ Up! products.
You pre-order and pay for the class, and then I place your order with Stampin’ Up!.
All the class orders are sent to me.
I package them with the FREE items to make all the projects and send the class to you.
I email you a pdf tutorial and a video link that you can watch as many times as you’d like – showing you how to make the projects.

Apart from everyday craft supplies (scissors, adhesives etc), Classes-to-Go includes everything thing you need to complete your projects – except stamp pads/markers unless otherwise stated.
If you don’t have the suggested colours, you can add them to your order as an Optional Add-On – or use other colours you do have.

You can then complete the Class-to-Go at your own convenience, anytime you would like!

Classes-to-Go are suitable for any level of crafter!

I will advise what products will be included in each of my Classes-to-Go when the pre-order opens.
The projects to be made will usually be revealed to you when you receive you Classes-to-Go.
Each class will be available to pre-order for approximately one week.

CTG #01 – Beautiful You

CTG #01 is based around the stunning Beautiful You stamp set and the Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Pencils.
This was the set I was a Showcase Stamper for at On Stage Live in Brisbane. The Class-to-Go projects are some of the cards that I designed for that presentation – so for this class, you will get to see the projects as I’ve already shown them publicly.
Here’s what you will receive in CTG #01
ctg_01_beautiful_you
And this graphic includes the Projects:
ctg_01_beautiful_you_before_after

CASEing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop & Challenge – CTC111 – Sale-A-Bration

Hello and welcome to CASEing the Catty – Sunday Blog Hop!

12371218_10153736740662158_9102306381153319857_o

Whether you’re joining the Hop here at CreativeJax with Jackie Noble, or if you’ve hopped on over from Monique at Stamping with Moni-Q  – or back Judy at Just Judy Designs  – BIG hello!

Welcome to the  Sunday CASEing the Catty Blog Hop where we CASE a particular section of the catalogue, and as always, everyone is encouraged to join in the Challenge at  CASEing the Catty Blog Hop and Sunday Challenge Facebook Group.

We love taking inspiration from the great projects in the catalogues and are sure you will too! So if you haven’t already joined the group don’t forget to pop in and ask to join us HERE

Once you’ve had a look through this week’s Blog Hop to see plenty of inspirational projects that the crew have created for you –  get your crafty mojo out and join the challenge –  just check out all the amazing creations from the other group members.

Last week we had people 27 people join the challenge – thanks so much for sharing your creations! We’ve loved seeing what you CASE’d. This week’s “People’s Choice” and “Crew’s Choice” were revealed in the Group page an hour ago. Check them out!

This week the crew is taking inspiration from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.

If you are not familiar with Sale-A-Bration (SAB) – let me just say it the most amazing part of the Stampin’ Up! year! You earn FREE exclusive SAB items – one (1)  for every $NZ110 of product that you order. There are 12 different items you can choose from – stamps or designer series paper or a card kit or a storage tin! You can see them all in a pdf HERE.

Like many – I just couldn’t resist the gorgeous Hey Chick stamp set found on page 17 of the SAB brochure. It was one of my first choices!

I’ve CASE’d the card at the top right of page 16.

2016_01_creativejax_ctc111_SAB_HeiHei_chick1

That wild-haired chick is my favourite!

As soon as I saw it I knew exactly who “he” was going to be – Hei Hei  – the rooster in the recently released Disney movie – “Moana”!

https://youtu.be/vlzcRnhzcyo

Although the Hey Chick bird doesn’t quite have the rooster comb – I think “he” is perfect to cast in the role of Hei Hei in the cardmaking world!

Note: In parts of Europe the movie has been released under the name of “Oceania” or as “Vaiana” as “Moana” was either trademarked – or was the name of a porn star! I don’t want to imagine the images those Disney fans would have found googling that!

If you haven’t seen the movie yet – do go! It’s a fabulous movie in true Disney musical style – though this Disney “Princess” is a chief’s daughter from the South Pacific! Very relevant to us Down-Under – and several New Zealanders were involved or “star” in the movie. Further in the post you can click on Hei Hei to watch the movie trailer.

Here’s a collage of my Hei Hei card along with a couple of movie images. Can you see the similarity!

Creativejax_ctc111_moana

I chose this Designer Series Paper from the Blooms & Bliss DSP pack as it reminded me of tropical flowers. Not quite as bright as the amazing scenery in the movie though!

2016_01_creativejax_ctc111_SAB_HeiHei_chick7

The card base is Island Indigo (what an appropriate name) with a Daffodil Delight banner. The “You’re the Best” sentiment is from the masculine stamp set – “Urban District”. I think this is a fabulous set and love, love, love this sentiment!

Like the original card I’ve embossed the “hey, chick” sentiment in White on Basic Black and I’ve layered the image up onto circular diecuts (scalloped and smooth) cut with the Layering Circles Framelits.

It’s always important to use your Embossing Buddy when you are embossing – but this is even more important when heat embossing on black card (or any dark colour). Helps avoid extra speckles of embossing.

Here’s a close-up of Hei Hei – googly eyes and all!

2016_01_creativejax_ctc111_SAB_HeiHei_chick2

I’ve used my Stampin’ Markers to colour Hei Hei – Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango, Emerald Envy and Island Indigo. I’ve outlined him very lightly in Pool Party. If you don’t have any Stampin’ Write Markers – you may want to consider joining a Markers Club. If you are in New Zealand you can join my Many Marvelous Markers Club – see more details HERE

… and here’s the inside of my card – with Hei Hei popping in again!

2016_01_creativejax_ctc111_SAB_HeiHei_chick4

And just because I think Hei Hei is the coolest dude – here’s another pic of him!

Creativejax_ctc111_heiehei

If you click on this picture of Hei Hei you can watch the movie trailer! (Hei Hei may just make an appearance!)

So … one card just isn’t quite enough is it? Okay … here’s another!

2016_01_creativejax_ctc111_SAB_HeiHei_chick5

Same colours – but this is a 10 x 10cm card.

I’ve used the Hexagons Dynamic Embossing folder as a stamp to get the chicken wire background, and as an embossing folder on the Daffodil Delight cardstock to get the texture. A little silver metallic thread to link in with the chicken wire, that cute sentiment and we’re done!

Rather than layering Hei Hei on multiple diecuts- in this card I’ve used the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I am sooooo pleased these are going to be available to order again soon – hopefully tomorrow! I’ll come back and add a link as soon as they are order-able!

2016_01_creativejax_ctc111_SAB_HeiHei_chick3

Can you see my favourite rooster inside again?

I do hope you’ve enjoyed my project this week! I had such fun creating with the Hey Chick stamp set. I know many others are too as these chicks are all over Pinterest!

You could choose this stamp set (or another SAB stamp set) as your FREE Sale-A-Bration item if you pre-order my inaugural Classes-to-Go class: CTG01 – Beautiful You!  Check out the detail HERE

Colour INKspiration – a new Blog Hop and Facebook Challenge Site

I have some exciting news to share; I’m on the Colour INKspiration Crew!

It consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators who create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.

colour_inkspiration_banner

There’s also a Facebook group for Stampin’ Up! ® enthusiasts who would like to share their paper craft projects using the colour combinations.

Here’s the deal – Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 9pm New Zealand Daylight Savings Time (7 pm AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group, and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.

And today is Challenge Number One!.

Members of the Facebook group can join the Colour INKspiration ‘Challenge’  if they wish to by uploading photos of their projects. Links back to their personal blog are allowed.
Make sure you click on the link below and ask to join Colour INKspiration, then add the group to your favourites and share it with your crafty friends so they can join in with the challenges too!

https://www.facebook.com/groups/349642308720075/

Hope to see you there!

And, without any further ado –  here is the first Colour INKspiration Pinterest Inspired Colour Swatch

ci01_2016_01_11

That’s a whole lot of colour!

While we didn’t have to include all the colours from the palette – I had a project in mind that would suit having lots of colours – so I decided to go for it and include them all!

2016_01_creativejax_ci01_retro_tees3

As I was using so many colours, I decided I may as well use all 3 of the stamp sets that coordinate so well with the t-shirt builder framelits.

First up – I’ve used the Custom Tee set for the outline on the t-shirt and for the sentiment on the inside of the card.custom-tee

And these are the framelits themselves – lots of options here!

t-shirt-builder-framelits

Next up – the Tied Dyed stamp set created the coloured patterns on the t-shirts.

tie-dyed

I think the Tied Dyed stamp set is going to be one of those love-it or loathe-it sort of stamps – and I love it!

And last of the three sets – the sentiments on the outside of the card – are from one of the FREE products you can choose during Sale-A-Bration – the Designer Tee stamp set.

screenshot-2017-01-11-18-31-07-2

I’ve use Sweet Sugarplum as the card base and Peekaboo Peach as the mat behind the t-shirts, This is a non-standard size as I wanted to highlight the tee shirts. Being long and skinny make them the focus I think. The card base is 15cm x 21cm, scored at 7.5cm.

Here’s a closer view of those t-shirts …

2016_01_creativejax_ci01_retro_tees2

… and an even closer so you can see the way the Tie Dyed images work together.

ci01_creativejax

These swirls are obtained through 3-step stamping – where each of the swirly stamps has a different colour and the images are layered. I’d have to say it took a few practice stamps to get the layers lined up. I think it was with taking the time to practise before putting ink to my card!

I only inked up part of the Happy Birthday stamp so that I could get Happy onto each of the shirts and Birthday onto the card front itself.

2016_01_creativejax_ci01_retro_tees

As this is a non Standard card size I created a custom envelope from the In-Colour Envelope Paper and my trusty Envelope Punch Board.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my project for the Inaugural Color INKspiration Challenge Blog Hop.

I look forward to seeing what you create with this colour combination. Enter the challenge at the Challenge Facebook page HERE

CASEing the Catty Blog Hop – CTC110 – Welcome

Hello and welcome to a new year at CASEing the Catty – Sunday Blog Hop!
CASEing the Catty Blog - CTC104 - Petals & Paisleys

Whether you’re joining the Hop here at CreativeJax with Jackie Noble, or if you’ve hopped on over from new Team Crew Member –  Mel at My Paper Oasis – or back from Julia at Handmade by Julia Quinn a BIG hello!

So – a New Year – a new Catalogue – and a new way of doing things here at CASEing the Catty.

The Crew will continue to have our regular Sunday Blog Hop where we CASE a particular section of the catalogue, and as always, everyone is encouraged to join in the Challenge . We love taking inspiration from the great projects in the catalogues and are sure you will too!

But we have decided to make a change to the way we do our monthly challenge. We are changing it to weekly and running it through the new CASEing the Catty Blog Hop and Sunday Challenge Facebook Group. If you have been inspired by our projects and want to share your own, please join us on the Facebook Group. A winner will be chosen and announced on the following Sunday at 6pm. We know lots of our followers don’t have Blogs and we want to be as inclusive as we can – so if you haven’t already joined the group you will find us HERE

Once you’ve had a look through this week’s Blog Hop to see plenty of inspirational projects that the crew have created for you –  get your crafty mojo out and join the challenge!

This week the crew is taking inspiration from pages 4 – 7 of the new Occasions Catalogue – which starts with the Animal Party Suite. I’ve chosen the card at the top right hand corner of page 6.
occ17_p06a

I was drawn to the angled layout! – and see that I’m not the only crew member who chose to CASE this card! And while I certainly have plenty of birthdays I could be making cards for, I also need a welcome card. Our good friends and neighbours are leaving so we will be getting some new neighbours soon and I like to welcome them to the neighbourhood with a card & some baking.

And while I certainly have plenty of birthdays I could be making cards for, I also need a welcome card. Our good friends and neighbours are leaving so we will be getting some new neighbours soon and I like to welcome them to the neighbourhood with a card & some baking.

2016_01_creativejax_ctc110_welcome You can see I’ve kept the layout the same as the original – that’s what caught my eye in the first place!
The background is a Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper – Carried Away. Those streets are perfect for my card! It is cut to fit the full size of the card front (1/4 A4 = 10.5 x 14.85cm) and the card base is Night of Navy – not that you can see any of it!
This DSP provided the colour palette for my card. I frequently check out the colours on the DSPs when I’m looking for a colour combo that will work. The DSP is cut to fit the full size of the card front (1/4 A4 = 10.5 x 14.85cm) and the card base is Night of Navy – not that you can see any of it!
The large sentiment is from the Vertical Garden stamp set, which is designed to go with the Vertical Garden Project Kit (page 22). I always like to get more use for these “kit” stamp sets than just the project they were intended for. I think this will also be great for welcoming new team members to my thINK Creative Team. I’ve stamped the “Welcome” in Night of Navy with a Peekaboo Peach shadow. Love how easy it is to achieve this shadow effect with photopolymer stamp. The leaves are from the same stamp set and stamped in Mint Macaron.
The smaller words were stamped using the letters from the Labeler Alphabet. Such a great set – you can “type” whatever you like/need!
After stamping the sentiments, I’ve matted the whisper white onto a piece of Watermelon Wonder and tied some Night of Navy Baker’s Twine around. As the cardstock is on an angle, the thread tends to slide up – so I put a glue dot on the back at each edge. If you get it very close to the edge it will hold the twine in place without it being visible from the front of the card. This was then popped up onto dimensionals.
The details on the DSP is just amazing – gotta love those cute swing sets and bicycle!
2016_01_creativejax_welcome_closeup
2016_01_creativejax_welcome_inside As always, I’ve carried the design elements through to the inside of the card – it just finishes a card off I think.

As I mentioned at the beginning of my Post – CASEing the Catty has a weekly Challenge which is now being hosted in our CASEing the Catty Blog Hop and Sunday Challenge Facebook Group. So check out the rest of the Crew’s projects – then head on over for more inspiration – and to enter the challenge if you’d like to – we’d love to see you there!

We’d love you to share your own project that takes inspiration from pages 4 to 7 of the Occasions Catalogue, Just click on the Join Challenge Button below and you will find yourself at the Facebook group where you can add you project. The weekly challenge with links to the album will be pinned to the top of the page.

Early this week I had a fun day with my thINK Creative Team  – making things for Catalogue Launch Parties, playing with new product, having our monthly team meeting and sharing food, laughter and good company! I usually give out team birthday cards at the meeting along with other recognition cards. I had fun making these cards with new goodies and I made a few extra – here’s a couple.

creativejax_ci000

I’ve made these using colours chosen for a new colour challenge group – Colour INKspiration.

I’m honoured to be on the Design Team for the Colour INKspiration Group which will host a colour challenge on Facebook every couple of weeks. You can join the group  https://www.facebook.com/groups/. All crafters are welcome to join! You can join in any of the challenges – you don’t need a blog – or you can simply follow the group and enjoy seeing what’s being created with the challenge colours.

We are having a pre-challenge in the lead-up to the official launch next week. The colours for this pre-challenge are Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight and Mint Macaron and any neutrals.

I’ve used some new products – Cake Crazy stamp set, Candle Border Punch and  Watercolour Pencils (be still my pounding heart!)

Here are the cards in among some of the crafting supplies I used!

creativejax_ci000_supplies

I’ll be showing how to stamp these multi-layered cake images during my online Facebook Launch Party – which starts tomorrow! You can join me – check out the details HERE

If you would like any information about going in the products I’ve used in my project – as always they’re listed in the table below.

Feel free to leave me a comment below – I love hearing from you!

If you live in New Zealand and would like a friendly demonstrator to order through or join up with – I’d love to help you!  You could join my group of crafty customers or my thINK Creative team – let’s journey together!

Thailand Achievers December Blog Hop – Occasions Catalogue Sneak Peek

thailand-grand-vacation-blog-hop

Welcome to the Thailand Incentive Trip Achievers Blog Hop for December.

Those hopping today are all Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world who have met the requirements, and earned the amazing Stampin’ Up! Incentive trip – while everyone can try, only a limited number of demos (less than 1% of all demonstrators) reach the level required to earn the trip each year.

This month our theme is the “Occasions Catalogue Sneak Peek”.

We ALL get excited about new product and we want to showcase some of the new products for you to give you ideas and inspire you for the new Occasions catalogue that starts 4th January 2016.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Jackie Noble | creativeJax –  or may have come from the person previous to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Jackie Noble | creativeJax.

There’s a lot of amazing things in the new catty so I had a hard time selecting what to give you a sneak peek.

If you read my recent post about On Stage Live held in Brisbane last month, You may remember that I was a Showcase Stamper for the stunning new “Beautiful You” stamp set. I did several projects including a Pop-Up Swing card. Here’s a collage of the project. This was the first time I had done this technique and searched for a tutorial on YouTube to teach me – luckily there were plenty!creativejax_2016_11_pop_up_card

I love this stamp set and wanted to feature it in today’s post, and I was also keen to share some of the fabulous new Designer Series Papers (DSPs) in the new catty. So I’ve redone the card using two of these – Party Animal and Falling in Love. Each of the girls in these cards are stamped onto DSP the cutout. The images are also stamped onto cardstock and then the cutout image on the DSP is stuck onto this. I love the effect this technique achieves.

First up – here’s a 50th card I made for someone special.

The colours in the Party Animal DSP make it bright and playful – Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry, Emerald Envy, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, Whisper White.

My second card showcases a very different DSP – Falling in Love – with the colours of Blushing Bride, Sahara Sand, Soft Sky, Sweet Sugarplum, Very Vanilla.

I love how by using different DSP’s I got very different looks in these cards.

If you’re wondering how I got the multi-coloured sentiments – I’ve used my Stampin’ Write Markers – first to colour part of the sentiment in one colour and then using a different colour on the rest of the sentiment.

If you don’t have the Stampin’ Write Markers in your craft supplies – you may wish to consider joining my Markers Club – you can read more about it here

The Beautiful You stamp set and two DSPs (Falling in Love & Party Animal) will be available for purchase from 4th January.

If you live in New Zealand and would like a copy of the new catalogue, please contact me.

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don’t want to miss. Remember that currently, you are at my blog Jackie Noble | creativeJax, so check the blog hop lineup list to see who is next in the list.
