It’s great to be hopping with the All Star Tutorial Bundle Design Team – we are ready to help you create beautiful handmade projects featuring Stampin’ Up! products. It’s time for a new Tutorial Bundle and Blog Hop for you.

We had a couple of changes this month – both in the Design Team Members – and in the composition of the Bundle. From this month, we will be all using the same suite to create our projects.

All Star Tutorial Bundle Design Team Blog Hop

Remember, the projects in the Blog Hop are not the same projects as in our tutorial – the projects in the Tutorial Bundle are exclusive and not shown anywhere else. Here’s my sneak peek of the project I’ve done for the Tutorial Bundle.

The project being shared today and my project in the Tutorial Bundle are both made using the same die from the Poppy Moments Die Set – but they are different projects.

Blog Hop Project – A poppy becomes a smile!

I had such a good time making this fun card. It was inspired by a pile of die-cut flower centres that reminded me of smiley faces. The die shape is one of the centres of the poppy flowers from the Poppy Moments Dies.

Project Details

Paper/card: Granny Apple Green (card base), Real Red, Whisper White, scraps of for poppy centres – Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point, Blackberry Bliss, and Gorgeous Grape

Ink: Classic Ink Pads and Stampin’ Write Markers in the following colours. Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point, Blackberry Bliss and Gorgeous Grape

In this closeup you can get a better look at those cute faces. Love that I get a smile from the centre of a poppy!

To get the rainbow in my sentiment, I used the Stampomn’ Write Marker. By running the brush tip end of the pen and gently colouring straight onto the stamp, you can achieve the multicoloured look.

The inside is also stamped.

I actually used the inkpads – not the Markers – to stamp up the small background image from Painted Poppies stamp set.

Gotta love it when a plan finally comes together! Introducing Create with Pip & Jax!

Simple Stamping for the Totally Techniques January Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to the Totally Techniques Blog Hop! I’m Jackie Noble from Porirua in New Zealand.

I’m super excited to join this International Design Team. I felt so honoured when Zoe Tant talked to me about it while we were in Germany at OnStage Live last November. I’ve followed the Totally Techniques Blog Hop for several years and have got heaps of inspiration from the projects shared over that time by many amazing Demonstrators from around the world!

This month, our featured technique is Simple Stamping. While it is the theme for our January Blog Hop – because of the time difference – it’s already February here in New Zealand!

Beautifully Braided meets Simple Stamping

I love several of the images in the Beautifully Braided Stamp set and have chosen two ( plus a sentiment) to be the focus on my #simplestamping project – the large botanical image and the long narrow strip pattern.

The long narrow stamp is used to create a frame for the botanical image. I’ve also done some offset stamping of the botanical image to give the illusion of a 3D effect. Photopolymer stamps make it so easy to do this,

Project Details

Stamp sets: Beautifully Braided

Paper/card: Mint Macaron, Very Vanilla

Ink: Mint Macaron, Early Espresso, Soft Seafoam

Accessories: Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins

Non-Stampin’ Up! Items: Post-it notes

I stamped the large image in Mint Macaron (above) and then again in Soft Seafoam (below). When I stamped it, I offset the Soft Seafoam image a little to give a 3D look.

I wanted to make frame around the top part of the botanical image.

To work out how much of the stamp I needed to ink up to go across the top of the frame, I used the image on the clear sheet that the stamps come on. By positioning this sheet across the stamped image on my Very Vanilla, I could see how many of the pattern pieces I needed to ink up. So using Early Espresso, I inked up five patterns which I then stamped the along the top of my cardstock. Next I Inked up six patterns which were stamped down the sides and lastly the bottom of the frame. For the bottom part of my frame I only needed one of the patterns on one side, and two on the other.

The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso and then in Soft Sea Foam that is again offset slightly.. Once the stamping was finished, the Very Vanilla was stuck to the front of the card base.

As usual – I like carrying elements from the front of my card through to the inside. This time I stamped the image I’d used for the frame onto the bottom right corner.

Welcome to January’s Stampin’ Creative Global Blog Hop.

Our Design Team is made up of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from throughout the world and we love blogging together each month to share new Creative projects with you all. You’re currently with Jackie Noble – aka CreativeJax – in Porirua, New Zealand.

This month’s theme is Hearts of Friendship.

There is lots of inspiration and many products in the 2020 January – June Mini Catalogue that work with this theme.

The “From my Heart Suite” is a gorgeous suite based all around hearts – but there are many others in the catalogue that fit the theme perfectly too. I did some mixing and matching with sentiments from other stamp sets to create a card for all my Team members to see in the New Year.

Inside the card was a sentiment from the Music from the Heart stamp set which I know I’m going to get a lot of use from!

I used two different patterns of DSP on the card fronts and there were two different coloured hearts to punch out. Apart from that – all the team cards were the same.

Second Project

I’ve used the same design to make a Valentine Day Card – can you guess who it’s for?

A perfect sentiment for one music lover from another music lover.

Timeless Tulips – Home Decor Stampin’ Up! Style January Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to the January Home Decor Stampin’ Up! Style Blog Hop.

Those hopping today are Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world who enjoy making home decor items using current Stampin’ Up! Products and this month’s theme was open for the hop participants to choose themselves.

I’m featuring the Timeless Tulips Bundle in a clean and simple project today.

Vase of Timeless Tulips

I have created a vase of tulips using both InColor Collections.

This project was kept really simple – as this was a quick project to have as part of my displays at my catalogue launches over the weekend.

Crafting time has been limited in the leadup to these launches which were postponed from earlier in the month due to my Dad passing away. So while I would have usually added ribbons and some other embellishments, I decided the quick simple look actually highlighted the tulips. And I got lots of comments and questions about them at the launches – so I’m really pleased I left them as in and included them in my displays.

Here’s a couple of closer shots so you can see that each tulip is made up of six punched tulip shapes which have been stamped.

To construct these, I cut and stamped six petals for each flower. Then I folded them in half, applied Tombow Multipurpose glue. and stuck them together – wrong sides together. I did two sets of three petals, then put a piece of Tear & Tape on one half to secure the stem (Florist wire).

There are two stamped leaves attached with glue dots on each stem.

The Mini pot had some florist foam placed inside. The tulip stems were pushed into the foam and then some planting moss was spread around the surface.

Even the Purple Posy Tulip is stamped. You may be wondering how I did that as the Purple Posy Ink Pad and Refill have been discontinued. Easy Peasy – you can use Highlander Heather – just stamp it off on scrap paper to lighten the colour before stamping your project.

The colour and lighting are not great – but if you look in the photo below of my launch party display you may notice there are no leaves on the tulips! I didn’t get time to add them before the launches this weekend – but I another launch party coming up in Napier and several other events – so I’ve added them now!

Parisian Memories – Maui Achievers January Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to the January Maui Trip Achievers’ Blog Hop.

Those hopping today are all Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world who met the requirements to earn the amazing 2020 Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip to Maui. While every demo can work towards and potentially earn the trip, only a limited number of demos (less than 1% of all demonstrators) reach the level required to earn the trip each year.

As Achieving Demonstrators, we hop together once a month to show you ideas and designs using “current” Stampin’ Up! products.

With the recent launch of the 2020 January-June Mini Catalogue I am sure the hop is going to full of magnificent creations showcasing lots of new products.

I’m featuring products from the Parisian Blossoms Suite in my project.

I loved this suite as soon as I saw it for a number of reasons. Firstly – it’s Paris! Need I say more! But there is more. It is thanks to Stampin’ Up! that I finally got to visit my biggest bucket list destination in 2016 – the year I went on my first Incentive Trip – the Mediterranean Cruise. After the cruise, Roy and I went on a European road trip which included several days in Paris. It was our 30th wedding anniversary in 2016 and we organised to renew our wedding vows overlooking the Eiffel Tower! So the Eiffel Tower Dies were a must have. And the sentiments in the stamp sets are awesome – with those in the Parisian Beauty stamp set also being perfect for memory keeping.

So using this set in a project for the Achievers Blog Hop is really appropriate.

Parisian Memory Box

I have created a Memory Box to keep momentos and photos from our trip – though it could be used to store all sorts of things – or simply a home decor piece. The lid could also make a Great Wall hanging!

I picked up a Kraft lidded box to decorate but you could also use a sturdy shoe box.

The Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder has amazing detail – and those Champange Rhinestones add some classy bling!

Designs products that co-ordinate – not just within a suite – or within one catalogue – but across the whole range of products. Ive teamed the Parisian Blossom’s Petal Pink Metallic-Edged ribbon from the Mini with the Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon and the Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon.

Here’s the Memory Box as part of the Parisian Blossoms Suite display from my Catalogue launches which I held over the last couple of days.

By adding some diecuts from the Parisian Dies, I’ve quickly updated a couple of photo frames I had previously put together from our Vow Renewal by

Here’s a close-up of one.

Did you notice that my dress from our day in Paris had red poppies on it? I’d chosen it specifically for our Vow Renewal in Paris.

How cool is that in the Mini Catalogue also have a whole suite based on poppies? The Peaceful Poppies Suite.

So I just had wear my Paris poppy dress at my Mini Catalogue launches in honour of these two suites – Parisian Blossoms and the Peaceful Poppies Suites.

While the DSP is not the main feature of the project – its presence ties all the colours together – something DSP is prefect for!

The Old Olive cardstock is popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals and this acts as a stopper for the folded part of the calendar keeping it upright.

When the calendar part is lifted out from behind its stopper, the cardstock folds flat. Perfect for posting.

They are a bit hard to see in the other photos, but I’ve added some of the Peaceful Poppies Sequins for some extra texture.

Colour INKspiration 3rd Birthday Blog Hop

3 Monochromatic Birthday Cards to celebrate a very special Birthday!

Today I’m hopping as a Guest Designer with the Crew at Colour INKspiration Challenges in Celebration of the 3rd Birthday of Colour INKspiration. it’s exactly 3 years to the day that Colour INKspiration launched on Facebook – 11th January 2017. This celebratory hop includes current Crew Members along with a number of past Crew Members. We have each chosen three favourite colours to craft with for this hop. I chose 3 of my favourite neutrals which you can see them in the image below.

All Star Tutorial Bundle Design Team Blog Hop

The project being shared today and my project in the Tutorial Bundle are both made using the same Breathtaking Bouquet stamp set and the Pigment Sprinkles – but they are different projects – each using the Sprinkles in a different way.

With the release of a new catalogue we demos love to join in with a swap or two! It’s a great way to get samples with different ideas and products than our own in exchange for others having one of our cards. That’s a win-win!

I joined a couple of swaps with the Creative Inkers Team. I’m super grateful to Team Leader Jacque WIlliams for including her extended team in lots of activities – like swaps.

More Project Photos

The outside of the card has the Breathtaking Bouquet image heat embossed in white with spritzed Gorgeous Grape Pigment Sprinkles.

I carried the pattern through to the inside of the card by masking part and stamping the Breathtaking Bouquet image in Highland Heather. I found the Stamparatus helpful in this step.

You can see in this picture of a few of the swaps I made, that there is a wide variation in the effect achieved – each card is unique!

Mini Meerkats Treat Boxes – A Sneak Peek! Stampin’ Creative December Blog Hop

Welcome to December’s Stampin’ Creative Global Blog Hop.

This month’s theme is all about giving you some sneak peeks from the soon to be released 2020 January – June Mini Catalogue and SaleABration (SAB) Brochure.

It was a REALLY tough choice to choose which item to showcase. I finally settled on one of the gorgeous stamp sets you will be able to earn for FREE during SAB – The Gang’s All Meer. I’m in love with the meerkat images found in this set. It’s the first SAB item you will see in the catalogue – and bound to be a popular one!

I attended the Baby Shower for one of my nieces recently and just had to use these cute meerkats. I made a gift card featuring them and also teamed them with the Mini Curvy Keepsake Die to make wee treat boxes. I’m super pleased the Mini Curvy Keepsake is carrying over – Yay! You will be able to purchase this even after the Holiday catalogue finishes. So if you missed it – now’s your chance.

The shower was hosted by two of my other nieces and Eliza (a daughter of one of the nieces) was a delightful helper sharing the treat boxes with guests. She loved the meerkats too!
