Greek Isles Achievers’ Blog Hop

Holiday Catalogue Acheivers Blog HopAs well as a new Holiday Catalogue – it’s a new year at Stampin’ Up!®. That means the timeframe to earn the 2019 Incentive Trip has now finished. Congratulations to everyone who met the criteria and who will be cruising the Greek Isles next July!

Greek Isles Incentive Trip Achievers Blog HopThose hopping today are all Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world who have met the requirements, and earned the amazing Stampin’ Up! Incentive trip – while everyone can try, only a limited number of demos (less than 1% of all demonstrators) reach the level required to earn the trip each year. We haven’t heard how many of the approximately 45,000 demonstrators from throughout the world have earned this particular trip – but it is usually about 450. I know there are some new faces who will be on the trip next year – Werhoo!!!

As Achieving Demonstrators, we hop together once a month to show you ideas and designs using current Stampin’ Up!® products and this month we are featuring products from the 2018 Holiday Catalogue.

I have three cards to share today and each uses some of my favourite things in the new catalogue – I say some because there are many, many items I fell in love with!

I’ll keep things simple by sharing the projects followed by a list of the products I used when creating it. I’ll mark anything from the Holiday Catalogue with an asterisk and include a link for you to check the product out in my online shop. The shop is a great place to get more information and images of products – so it is worth looking at the links even if you are not purchasing.

Project One:

First up a card I made for an US based swap. I enjoying joining these international swaps but do find it hard to wait for all the wonderful swaps to arrive back to me in New Zealand.

Project Two:

Up next is another swap card. This one was for my thINK Creative Team swap.

Project Three:

My third and final card is the one that uses some of the products that I received on the Alaskan Incentive Trip. I think of this as a very “Kiwi” Christmas card – bright and summery!

There’s just one other ting I want to share with you today – a video of an about-to-be-released, limited time product suite – Snowflake Showcase. And yes – as a demonstrator I already have these goodies and am enjoying creating all sorts of projects. Keep an eye on my Blog for more inspiration!

These products will be available to purchase from 1st – 30th November.

Contact me now if you live in New Zealand and would like to pre-order them.

Thank you for joining us today – we are so happy that you are taking part in our blog hop.

October Hop with the Tutorial Bundle Design Team

Hello from New Zealand and welcome to this month’s Blog Hop with the Tutorial Bundle Design Team where I share Christmas cards inspired by the Pohutukawa Tree (The New Zealand Christmas  Tree) and made with the Detailed Leaves Dies!

Tutorial Bundkle Design Team Blog Hop
The team is ready to help you create beautiful handmade projects featuring Stampin’ Up! products. We have a Tutorial Bundle and a Blog Hop for you.

The Tutorial Bundle

Our Design team has created a bundle of 12 tutorials using Stampin’ Up! products.
This month the bundle contains tutorials for traditional style cards, 3D packaging, fancy fold cards, and paper crafting techniques! It’s full of fabulous projects featuring lots of product from the new Holiday Catalogue EXCITING!!! you don’t want to miss out on.

Here’s a Sneak Peak of what you will receive in the bundle.

The Tutorial Bundles are based on currently available supplies from Stampin’ Up! and will have both metric and imperial (inches) measurements. So no matter where you live in the world, you can purchase these tutorials and use them to create great projects!

You can purchase the Tutorial Bundle is $NZ20 – or place an order over $NZ50 this month with me to receive this month’s tutorial for free. See the details at the end of the post to find out how you can get this exclusive bundle of tutorials.

The Tutorial Bundle Design Team Blog Hop

To celebrate the release of the October Bundle, the Design Team is holding a Blog Hop.
Remember, these Blog Hop projects are not the same projects as in our tutorial, as the projects in the Tutorial Bundle are exclusive and not shown anywhere else.
I have two cards to share today – both using the same framelits and technique as my card you’ll find in the tutorial.
Detailed Leaves Thinlits Dies
But rather than being in neutral shades – these two were inspired by our beautiful Pohutukawa Tree – “The New Zealand Christmas Tree”.
The reds and greens are perfect for Christmas and one of the framelits in the Detailed Leaves Thinlits Dies reminded me of the shape of the pohutukawa flower.

These photo of my cards were taken in front of one of our pohutukawa trees – not yet in bloom though!
pohutukawa tree inspired cards
The first card is on a Cherry Cobbler based and I have cut the leaf from a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) – the Grey Granite woodgrain from Festive FarmHouse. It is matted onto another piece of DSP – the Tranquil Tide spots from Joyous Noel – which has a detailed edge from the border die in the Detailed Leaves Thinlits. I’ve carried that edged through to the inside of the card and onto the envelope too.

You can see in this close up that the bow is made from lots of crinkly strands. This is from one of Stampin’ Up! Ribbons – the Cherry Cobbler 1/4″ double-Stitched Ribbon
To get the strands – cut your ribbon and then loosen the individual threads from the edge. You’ll end up with lots of cool strands you can use on your projects. I love deconstructing ribbons to get extra texture options.
Here’s the second colour-way of my Pohutukawa Tree inspired cards.
This card is on a Tranquil Tide base, with the leaf cut from the same Grey Granite woodgrain. It is matted onto another piece of DSP – the Merry Merlot poinsettia pattern from Joyous Noel. I’ve kept all the detailing the same as in the first card above. This time the threads come from the Tranquil Tide 3/8″ mini Ruffled Ribbon.
Pohutukawa Inspired Cards
The texture is slightly different from with the Cherry Cobbler ribbon. It is always a surprise to find out what exactly you are going to get when you first deconstruct a ribbon – it varies!

Here they are side by side!
The greeting is from the stunning Timeless Tidings stamp set. I’ve used my Stampin’ Write Markers directly on the stamp to get the different colours.
Don’t overlook this set just because it co-ordinates with the Timeless Tidings Project Kit. The kit is fabulous and the set is perfect for making the cards in the kit – but the sentiments in the set are some of my favourites in the Holiday Catalogue.
Timeless Tidings
Definitely a set you will want to add to your Christmas crafting collection!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my Blog Hop Project this month. Here’s a Sneak peek of my tutorial project which contains all the details on how to make an elegant neutral card.

A Flash Sale & New Stamparatus Accessories

October has kicked off with THREE exciting pieces of news – make sure you read right to the end!

#1.  There is a Flash Sale on now – it ends 7th October – don’t miss out!

Celebrate World Card Making Day

The first Saturday of every year is World Card Making Day and this year we are celebrating with a Stampin’ Up! sale for ONE WEEK ONLY.

The list of items on sale is limited – but it does have some essentials for card making – a few stamps, card kits and some adhesive to hold everything together! You can click on the list to enlarge it, or there are some images.

Sale items

To learn more about any of these items, and to see them in my online store, just click on the images below.

Just click on any of the images below to learn more about the item in my online store. There are additional images and even some videos in the store so it is well worth checking the items out there.

If you do make a purchase online – the Hostess code is 4JTK4GNW.

YAY – Card Kits are in the Sale!

It is great that four card kits are in the sale – and the first three on the list are All-Inclusive Kits – even better! Throw in a pair of snips and some adhesive and everything you need is there – including stamps and ink!!!

Kits make great gifts! Is there anyone on your Christmas Shopping List who would enjoy a kit? They could already be crafters, or they could be a beginner! The Kits are suitable for all levels of crafting experience.

They are also perfect for crafting on the go – especially the All-Inclusive kits! Having one or two while you are away on holiday means you can quickly make a card if you need one, or just do a spot of cardmaking while you relax!

Card Kits on Sale

#2.  Ready, Set Starter Kit available NOW!

Stampin’ Up! have introduced a BRAND NEW alternative Starter Kit to the South Pacific market for a limited time.

Ready Set Starter Kit

Until the end of December, anyone wanting to join Stampin’ Up! has TWO OPTIONS to choose from – the regular kit or the new “Ready Set Starter Kit”.

The regular Starter Kit remains fully customisable, while the alternative Ready Set Starter Kit includes predetermined products aimed at helping get your business off to a great start!

So whether you’re thinking of taking advantage of the regular discount you get as a Demonstrator, or if you are wondering about starting your own Business (big or small!) – there an option to suit!

You can read more about joining HERE

#3.  New Stamparatus Accessories are Here!

STAMPARATUS Accesories

I’m excited to share that Stampin’ Up! have introduced three new Accessories to use with the fabulous Stamparatus!

  • Small Grid Paper (Inches one side, centimeters on the other. Fits the Stamparatus)
  • Foam Mats (Used with photopolymer stamps. These will wear and it’s great to have replacement mats available to ensure even stamping)
  • Plates (While it is possible you may need to replace your plates – it is way more likely you will love having an extra set. These will be so handy when using multiple stamps as you’ll be able to have several set up ready to go without swapping the stamps)

You can buy these three items individually – or get them all together as a group – so much easier than adding three product codes!

Replacement magnets also continue to be available in case you misplace or break the ones that come with your Stamparatus.

These products are not part of any promotion – they’ve been added to the ongoing product listing.

You can click on any of the images in the table below to find out more information

Whew you’ve made it to the end!

Design it With DSP – Tranquil Textures Gift Box

Design it With Designer Series Paper

Welcome to this month’s Design it with Designer Series Paper Blog Hop.

Our Design Team is made up of 11 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from throughout the world – one from each of the countries/markets that Stampin’ Up! has a presence in. We have come together to share projects focusing on the beautiful Designer Series Paper in the Stampin’ Up! Catalogue.

Each month we will be featuring a different paper and our Designer Series Paper (DSP) for September is Tranquil Textures.

This paper is so versatile – I just love it! It may also be because there is not a flower in sight – lol!

I’ve used it in many cards and bags, and love how there is a pattern suitable for any occasion – masculine, birthdays, celebrations, feminine young or old!

This week I’ve made a gift box and matching gift card with some of the softer colours – perfect packaging for a new baby gift.

Gift Box

I could just see a couple of pairs of baby socks tucked into the mini gable box for a new wee arrival.

The Lustrous White Gable boxes are stunning as-is. But they can be decorated, and they can also be altered themselves in several ways. They can be stamped on, textured embossed, die cut or coloured (sponging, brayering or spritzing).

To co-ordinate with the Tranquil Textures DSP, I spritzed mine in Mint Macaron.

Gable box - coloured and plain

To do this, I placed a couple of drops of Mint Macaron ink from the re-inker into a Spritzer. before adding Isopropyl Alcohol. I put the lid back on tighly and shook gently to mix the ink and alcohol.  Then I spritzed colour all over the outside of the Mini Gable box. The advantage of using alcohol over water is that it evaporates so much quicker so the box dries faster. Make sure you do this in a well-ventilated place if using alcohol.

Here are the steps to decorate the box. (All DSP is from the Tranquil Textures DSP pack.)

  1. Wrap a 9″ x 1 3/4″ strip of DSP around the box – leaving the gap at the front of the box. Use Liquid Multipurpose Glue to stick the DSP to the box.
  2. Stick a different 4″ x 1 3/4″ DSP to the front of the box.
  3. Next, attach a 3 7/8′ piece of DSP (the same as that used in step 1) onto the front of the box.
  4. Cut the “net die” from a piece of contrasting DSP. The “net die” is one of the dies in the Under the Sea Framelits which are part of the Tranquil Texture Suite. Cut a piece from the cutout – about 1 1/2″ square – and attach this to the front of the box.
  5. Using another DSP pattern, cut the smallest of the Stitched Shapes Circle Framelits and adhere with a dimensional on top of the “net”.
  6. Stamp the “You’re one of a kind” sentiment in Tranquil Tide onto a pale DSP and punch out with the Classic Label Punch. Attach to the Circle. I put a mini dimensional under the end that was hanging off the edge of the circle.
  7. Decorate with some of the Tranquil Tide pearls from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls.

Box

The gift card was made from shimmery White Cardstock that had also been spritzed with Mint Macaron. The same DSP components and pearls were used to make a co-ordinating little card – too cute!

Hope you enjoyed my project! Now it’s time to Hop along to see all the amazing projects made using the Tranquil Textures DSP.

Have fun!

Hello from New Zealand and welcome to this month’s Blog Hop with the Tutorial Bundle Design Team!

September Sneak Peek

The Tutorial Bundles are based on currently available supplies from Stampin’ Up! and will have both metric and imperial (inches) measurements. So no matter where you live in the world, you can purchase these tutorials and use them to create great projects!

You can purchase the Tutorial Bundle is $NZ20 – or place an order over $NZ50 this month with me to receive this month’s tutorial for free. See the details at the end of the post to find out how you can get this exclusive bundle of tutorials.

The Tutorial Bundle Design Team Blog Hop

To celebrate the release of the September Bundle, the Design Team is holding a Blog Hop.
Remember, these Blog Hop projects are not the same projects as in our tutorial, as the projects in the Tutorial Bundle are exclusive and not shown anywhere else.

I have used the same stamp set (Making Christmas Bright) and also one of the new Shimmer Paints now available in the Holiday Catalogue which went live on Wednesday 5th!   The Shimmer Paints add a gorgeous sparkle to any project – especially a Christmas one!
It is a little hard to see the shimmer on the Night of Navy bard base – but trust me – it IS there!
Night of Navy Coppery Christmas Card
I was inspired by one of the stunning papers in the All is Bright Designer Series Paper – the one with all the Christmas baubles on it.
All is Bright DSP

We had received almost all the products this large suite (the All is Bright Suite) while on the Alaskan Cruise Incentive Trip and it was one of the first that I used when I got home. I thought I could use one of the stamps in the Making Christmas Stamp set to create my own baubles. Here’s the stamp set.
Making Christmas Bright
So after giving it a gentle rub with my Embossing Buddy, I stamped the “messy” circle shape in versamark onto my Night of Navy Card base. Then sprinkled some Copper Emboss Powder and heat set it.
Using versamark and more copper embossing, I added some decorations and a string to the bauble with some of the other stamps in the set, along with a sentiment.
The stamp set has a co-ordinating punch (Christmas Light Bulb Builder Punch) and you can get the two as a bundle.
Christmas Bulb Builder Punch
The little piece of the bulb makes a perfect topper for a bauble too! You can just see it above the Copper Trim bow in the closeup below.
creativeJax copper & Night of Navy Card

I’ve then painted some Bright Copper Shimmer Paint over the bauble with the tip of my Aqua Painter.

The Night of Navy card front was stuck onto Copper Foil Sheet. Sometimes with heat embossing the paper can become a little warped, so I was generous with the amount of Tear and Tape I used because I wanted the front stuck well down.
This was then attached to the front of a Night of Navy Card using dimensionals.

Here’s a Sneak peek of my tutorial project which contains all the details on how to stamp these baubles and make them Sparkle!

Those hopping today are Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world who have met the requirements, and earned the amazing Stampin’ Up! Incentive trip that only a limited number of demos (less than 1% of all demonstrators) reach the level required to earn the trip each year.

We hop together once a month to show you ideas and designs using current Stampin’ Up!® products.

This Month we are focussing on Items from the New Holiday Catalogue. One of the highlights of earning the Incentive Trip from a crafting and business perspective is that the Holiday Catalogue is launched on the Trip itself. Not only do we get to see the new catalogue and some of the products in it – we also get given our own copy and we receive new product as gifts through All Attendee Give-a-Ways, Prize Patrol, Pillow Gifts and daily Spin-the-Wheel prizes! Stampin’ Up! spoil the trip earners incredibly!

I was particularly pleased to be able to share this trip with my two sisters. We get to spend a day together every month Memory Keeping because of Stampin’ Up! and it was so special to be able to have them with me on the Alaskan Cruise. #3sistersgocruising

One of the Pillow Gifts we received Is a gorgeous bundle called “Making Christmas Bright” which is a combo of the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch and the Making Christmas Bright Stamp Set and part of a stunning suite – All is Bright. I think this is going to be a favourite!

For my project today I’m pairing the stamps with a sheet of paper from the coordinating Designer Series Papers (All is Bright) and also two sets of framelits that are currently available Delicate Lace Edgelits and Stitched Seasons Framelits. The Delicate Lace Edgelits are in the Annual Catalogue (available until at least 3rd June 2019) and the Stitched Seasons Framelits are a limited-time product (in the Colour Your Season Suite which is only available until 31st August while supplies last). There’s some more info about the Colour Your Season Suite further down in my post.

friends make the season shine

There is all sorts of metallic going on in this page – I’ve got Gold and Champagne Foil Sheets, Gold and Silver Embossing and Gold Glimmer Paper. With some vellum and bling thrown in for good measure!

The bauble patterned paper from the All is Bright Designer Series Paper is where it all started. The Delicate Lace Edgelits where perfect to cut the foil sheets and the vellum and also to use with the Big Shot Embossing Mats to add the texture to the background.

The “circle” stamp from Making Christmas Bright has made gorgeous baubles. I’ve decorated them with some of the other stamps from the set and added a topper using Champagne Foil Sheet punched with the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch.

I absolutely love the Stitched Seasons Framelits and have used them in lots of cards – but also in lots of Memory Keeping pages – both 12×12 layouts and pocket pages. If you don’t have these yet – you better be quick. They’re only available until the end of August or while supplies last.

I’ve cut two of the smallest framelit – one in Golf Glimmer and one in Very Vanilla. The top Very Vanilla one has had the stitched edge trimmed off so that the Gold Glimmer mat is visible underneath.

Thank you for joining us today – we are so happy that you are taking part in our blog hop. Make sure that you don’t miss out on one blog as there are some incredible designs you are going to see today to inspire you.

Remember that currently, you are at my blog Jackie Noble | creativeJax

ESAD Blog Hop – Stitched Season meets Petal Promenade

Stitched Seasons meets Petal Promenade

ESAD Colour Your Seaspns Blog Hop

Hello from New Zealand and welcome to the ESAD Colour Your Season Blog Hop!

What is ESAD
The Colour Your Season Suite of products are a limited-time offering from Stampin’ Up!
There are three products in the suite – watercolour pencils (Assortment 2 – all different from the set in the Annual Catalogue), a stamp set (Blended Seasons) and a set of framelits (Stitched Seasons Framelits). Click on the picture below if you’d like to check out all the details.
These products are only available until the end of August – or while supplies last. So get in quick!
Of course, a purchase of the Blended Seasons Bundle, or the stamp set or the Stitched Seasons Framelits will qualify you for the August Tutorial Bundle for FREE! And five projects in the Tutorial Bundle use products from the Colour Your Seasons Suite – Bonus!!

I may have mentioned it before – but my favourite products in the suite are the framelits! stitched Seasons FramelitsIn particular – I just love the cutting edges on the three decorative panels. Having the three sizes is perfect for different sized images and sentiments – and for layering! I’ve used the two smaller sized framelits on my project for the ESAD Blog Hop.
The fold is a z-fold – you can see it more in this picture.
I’ve used the middle-sized shape from the Stitched Framelits to cut out one shape in Whisper White and one in Grapefruit Grove. The smaller shape cut was used to cut out the Whisper White piece that has the sentiment stamped on it. The sentiment is from Beautiful Bouquet and was stamped in Tranquil Tide.

The middle-sized Whisper White Shape is attached to the centre of the “inside” of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I’ve tied Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon around the layered shapes before attaching to the front of the card so that this panel overlaps the one inside the card.

Here’s another view where you can see both the outside and inside panels.

The embellishment is a Petal Pink Rhinestone Gem which Co-ordinate with the Petal Promenade DSP so beautifully.

Now, it’s time to enjoy the other fabulous creations by ESAD members in the Hop.

Designer Series Paper – International Blog Hop – Nature’s Poem

Design it With Designer Series Paper

Welcome to this month’s Design it with Designer Series Paper Blog Hop.

Our Design Team is made up of 11 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from throughout the world – one from each of the countries/markets that Stampin’ Up! has a presence in. We have come together to share projects focusing on the beautiful Designer Series Paper in the Stampin’ Up! Catalogue.

Each month we will be featuring a different paper and our Designer Series Paper (DSP) for August is Nature’s Poem. This month 9 of us are hopping together.

DSP Blog Hop - Natures Poem

Last weekend I had the pleasure of presenting a workshop at the National Library of New Zealand for the Porirua Branch of the New Zealand Genealogy   National Society. August is Family History Month and the branch had organized a day focusing on documenting family histories. I was asked to do a workshop on documenting using Creative Memory Keeping. I jumped at the chance and had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon!

Attendees received an 8×6″ pocket page album and pack of Pocket Pages along with cardstock for the pockets and a range of embellishments and pre-punched labels.

I had put together an almost complete sample album which documented my Mum’s early life – from birth to her wedding day. The album was almost entirely in neutral tone. The last page of the album was a wedding photo of Mum & Dad and I wanted that to have some colour.

The fern pattern reminded me of the New Zealand Silver fern so perfect as a background for a Kiwi Wedding. And it works in so well with the garden setting of the photos.

DSP Blog Hop

I added a sponged Pearlised Doilie under the corner of the matted photo for a little texture. I thought the sponging worked in well with the older photo.

DSP Blog Hop

I’ve also matted a strip of one of the other papers from the Nature’s Poem DSP – it is in Soft Suede but almost looks like a sepia tone.  The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings and is punched out with the Classic Label Punch.

And that Copper leaf is one of the Leaves Trinkets which coordinate with the Nature’s Poem Suite.

I am so happy with how the page turned out and the Nature’s Poem DSP was perfect to display such a precious photo on.

And here’s a peek at what the outside and an inside page of the album looked like.

Family History Month Album

Now it’s time to see what the rest of the Design Team has made using the Nature’s Poem DSP. What a great global collection of demos! Make sure to visit everyone to see all the fun things you can do with this paper.

Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop – Best Route Memories & More

Welcome to the Monthly Blog Hop featuring members of the Scrapbooking Global – Stampin’ Up! Facebook Group. If you are not part of the Group – check it out! It’s a fabulous and friendly group for sharing Memory Keeping ideas – with a focus on Stampin’ Up!.

This month our Blog Hop has a Theme Challenge – Memories and More – with an optional theme of School Photos. I’ve stuck with the Memories & More Theme.

I can’t wait to see what the other hoppers have created! There is a “Next button” and a list of all the participants towards the bottom of the post.

Every Month I hold a Memory Keeping Workshop in the Wellington Region and also in Hawkes Bay. These day-long workshops include a Demonstration by me of a double spread that is one pocket page and a coordinating 12×12 layout page. As part of their workshop Fee, attendees get to complete the double page spread as a Make’n’Take. Then, for the rest of the day everyone works on their own projects.

I love the Memories and More Card Packs from Stampin’ Up! and they feature regularly in my Memory Keeping Projects. This coming weekend my Hawkes Bay Group will be using the Best Route Memories and More Card Pack as well as items from the coordinating Best Route Suite of products.

Here’s my double layout sample.

Scrapbooking Global Aug Best Route

If you’re not familiar with the Memories and More Card packs – you really need to check them out. Here’s a photo of the Best Route Card Pack.

Best Route Memories & More Card Pack

The bold colours in the Best Route Memories & More Card Pack and the Suite (Blueberry Bushel, Mango Melody, Pineapple Punch, Basic Black and Gray Granite) are a really versatile combination. Great for memory keeping any travels obviously – but also has lots of cards with sayings that are suitable for a range of pages – not just travel. They can also be used in your card making too!

In May I got to go to Disneyland with my daughter to celebrate her completing and handing in her Masters Thesis. We have LOTS of photos! The photos from our breakfast with Minnie and Friends had some similar colours as the suite – as well the bright red of Minnie Mouse. I decided they worked well together.

Scrapbooking Global Memories & More

The 12×12 layout has one of the papers from the Best Route Designer Series Paper as its base. The photo came in a red folder frame, so I trimmed that and matted it onto Pineapple Punch. I really wanted a clean look to the pages so any extra items on the page needed to have clean lines too.

The four “tags” on the page have all been cut from a Memories & More card using the layering dies in the Stitched Seasons Framelit Dies. I’ll be showing class attendees how to cut using only part of the dies at our workshop. This gives you so many more shape and size options from the 3 decorative shapes in the die set.

The tag at the top of the page has been cut from a 6×4 card and had a little strip of Best Route Washi Tape added, as well as some Pineapple Punch 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon.

If you look closely at the actual photos in the layout and pockets, you will see that I have added a strip of the same washi to each photo.

The tag attached under the top of the photo has been cut from a sheet of the Best Route Designer Series Paper (DSP). The little dots are from the Best Route Enamel Shapes pack.

Scrapbooking Global Memories & More

On the tag below the photo, I’ve stamped the day and date using the Make a Difference photopolymer stamp set in Blueberry Bushel and Gray Granite. This stamp set is great for adding text to your pages – though you need to take care to avoid losing any of the 143 (!!!) stamps in the set – some are very small.

There are some more enamel shapes and the Stitched Seasons Dies have cut the shaped tags. I love the look of these shapes!

I think the Stitched Seasons set of framelits is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for Memory Keeping. If you haven’t already purchased a set – I highly recommend you do so as soon as possible! They are only available until the end of August – while supplies last! There’s information about all the items in this limited time range below.

Scrapbooking Global Memories & More

I’ve used cards from the Best Route Memories & More Card Pack in four of the pockets.

  • The top right card has one of the specialty 6×4 cards as it’s base – it comes with texture embossing already done. I’ve used a Stitched Season die to shape the edges of our ticket and added some stars from the Best Route Enamel Shapes pack for more texture.
  • The middle card on the right has simply been slipped into the pocket as is! The quality of the cards allow you to use them as they are for a quick clean look.
  • The card in the middle features a card shaped with the die which has been matted onto a piece of Pineapple Punch cardstock that is embossed with the coordinating Maps Etc. Dynamic Texture Embossing folder. The reverse side of the other end of this card was used on the 12×12 layout (the Today tag). I’ve added another enamel shape and also a strip of Best Route Washi Tape (there’s three patterns in the pack)

  • The bottom left pocket has 2 6×4′ cards from the pack – one as the base and one as a shaped layer that I will journal on. The other end of the shaped card was also used on the 12×12 layout. Coordination is one of the things I really love about Stampin’ Up!’ products. There’s the 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon in Pineapple Punch as well as a Blueberry Bushel enamel shape which all match so well and make decorating the Memories & More Cards so easy! The “AWESOME” is from one of the sentiment stamps in the En Route Stamp Set. It’s heat embossed with the Pineapple Punch Embossing powder from the 2108-2020 In Color Stampin’ Emboss Powder set.

Scrapbooking Global Memories & More

The bottom right pocket features a photo trimmed and matted onto Mango Melody Cardstock with a strip of the third pattern of washi tape.

I’ve stamped the signpost image from the En Route stamp set in Versamark and added Blueberry Bushel Stampin’ Emboss powder. Scrapbooking Global - Memories & More

You can see the Washi on the photo in this one! I’ve got a small strip somewhere on each of the photos. Repetition is such a good way of linking elements together. While this Washi is not Acid Free I am happy to put a small piece on a part of photos that are not the main component. Of course, all Stampin’ Up! paper, adhesive, Memory & More cars and classic ink ARE acid free – so safe to use with your photos.

I had such fun making these pages and am looking forward to sharing them with my class on Saturday.

Thanks so much for hopping by today – do check out the amazing project by the other hoppers!

Here is the information about the Colour Your Season Suite which is only available during August – while supplies last. Don’t miss out on these – ESPECIALLY the Stitched Season Framelits!

Colour Your Season
The Colour Your Season suite is a set of all-new, limited-time products that are only available in August and only while supplies last.
This gorgeous suite includes 3 items
  • the Blended Seasons Stamp Set (images for every season),
  • the coordinating Stitched Seasons Framelits Dies (Squeal – they have stitching on both the positive and negative images)

Stitched Seasons Framelits Dies  –  $69.00

  • Watercolor Pencils (ten new colours).

Watercolor Pencils (Assortment 2)  –  $26.25

the stamps and framelits are also available to purchase as a bundle – in wood or clear block mount.
WaterColour Pencils

Now in even more colours – 10 in fact – these high-quality, smooth colour pencils are perfect for creating watercolour stamped images. Use with Aqua Painters, Blender Pens, or alone. They work beautifully with the Blended Season stamp set. They are also Acid and Lignin Free

The colours in this assortment complement the colours already available in the Annual catalogue. They are Balmy Blue, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, Garden Green, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Night of Navy.

Blended Season Stamp Set
As the name suggests – there’s a stamp for any season in this set! But not only do the images work for different seasons – they also cover a huge range of card giving reasons. From Christmas to wedding to Get Well to Thanks and most things in between!
The different images and sentiments fit so well onto the different sized dies in the Stitched Seasons Framelits.
And of course, those images are perfect for colouring. It could be with the Watercolour Pencils or Stampin’ Blends or Aqua Painters. So much choice!

Stitched Season Framelits
I’m in love with these framelits!
Only one of the dies – the Bell shape – actually cuts out a stamped image from the Blended Seasons Stamp Set. The others are stand-alone dies – though of course, they coordinate beautifully with the other stamped images and sentiments.
Stitched season Framelits
I’m particularly fond of the decorative shaped panels. Three sizes equal lots of versatility – and they that mat so well together. Look closely at the shaped panels – the cutting and stitching configuration means when the panel is cut you get stitching around the panel itself – AND stitching around the outside of the “negative” space left behind!!! You can see that in the images below.

I’ll be featuring more projects using this fabulous suite over the next week.

And remember – any purchase of $NZ50 or more this month qualifies you to receive the amazing International Tutorial Bundle for FREE!! This month five (5) or the 12 projects feature the Colour Your Seasons Suite!

Here’s a sneak peek of the projects in the August Tutorial Bundle.

CTC191 – it’s Clean and Simple – Be Strong Be Happy Be You!

CASEing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop
Hello and welcome to CASEing the Catty – Sunday Blog Hop.
Whether you’re joining the Hop here at CreativeJax with Jackie Noble, or if you’ve hopped on over from Julia at Hand Made by Julia Quinn – a big WELCOME!

This week the CTC Crew is CASE-ing pages 142 – 153 of the Annual Catalogue which starts with the fabulous Nature’s Poem Suite and continues with an array of gorgeous stamp sets.

I have CASEd a card from page 149.
I was taken with the striking simplicity of the card in the middle of the page and have created my version.
ctc191 mini striped ribbon

As I’ve used the 1/4″ Mini Striped Ribbon which is thicker than the original cards Baker’s Twine, I’ve only put three ribbons. They also tie in with the three phrases of my sentiment

       Be Strong
       Be Happy
       Be You

Here’s the card on its own.ctc191 be strong be happy be you
The mini striped ribbon is available in three colours – Gorgeous Grape, Bermuda Bay and Poppy Parade.  I love how these three colours from the Brights Colour Collection go so well together.
The card base is a standard A6. That’s 21cm x 14.8cm scored at 10.5cm – so half an A4 scored in half.

The clean and simple sentiment is from the Rooted in Nature stamp set. Aren’t there some stunning images in this set?  I’ve used the one with three lines of text that are “reversed”.

Rooted in Nature
I stamped the sentiment three times – once in each of the ribbon colours and then grabbed my Paper Snips to fussy cut each one into the individual lines of text. Once they were cut apart I could use a line of each colour on my card – attaching them Mini Dimensionals.

Don’t forget to check out the home of CASEing the Catty on Facebook. If you’re not a member of the group – just ask to join and we will see you there! And if you wish to – you can join in the fun too!
